Featured on the Center for Communication’s New Make It In MediaPodcast

I’m excited to share that the Center for Communication—an organization dedicated to cultivating the next generation of media talent—has launched a brand-new weekly podcast series called Make It In Media. The first episode of the series showcases highlights from the Made in NYC Creators Panel, which I had the pleasure of participating in earlier this year.

A Newly Expanded Conversation for Emerging Media Professionals

The original live panel featured a group of NYC-based creators discussing career paths, the evolving media landscape, and the realities of working in production and post-production. For the podcast, the Center for Communication enhanced the discussion with additional commentary and editorial framing, resulting in a highly informative and engaging listening experience.

The premiere episode, “Where Do I Start? Picking Your First Media Career Path,” is designed to help students and early-career professionals navigate their next steps. In the YouTube edition, I appear at 6:44, but the full conversation provides a wide range of perspectives from across our industry.

My thanks to the Center for Communication for the opportunity and for producing such a polished and meaningful podcast series and to my co-panelists Cherice Hunt, Chelsea Lupkin and moderator extraordinaire Camila Brango.
